Your ShedPros Experience.

EXPLAINED.

What you can expect when hiring ShedPros

A simple, well-managed process — from first conversation to finished shed

We believe a shed project should feel organized, predictable, and stress-free. Our process is built around clear communication, thoughtful planning, and a team that handles the details the right way — without pushy sales tactics or pressure.

(This is the process that begins when you reach out through our Start Your Project page.)

Consultation & Planning

Every project starts with a conversation.

We take the time to understand how the shed will be used, where it will go, access to the property, and any concerns about terrain, utilities, or existing structures.

During the consultation, we:

• discuss your needs and goals

• walk through placement and access considerations

• talk through options and practical solutions

• help you land on a plan that makes sense for your property

Our consultations are no-pressure and no-commission.

Our job is to listen, educate, and help you make a confident decision — not “sell” you something.

(You can request this consultation anytime from our Start Your Project page.)

Removal & Demolition of an Old Shed

If there’s an existing shed that needs to be removed, we can take care of that as part of the project.

We handle demolition and removal with the same care and respect we bring to every phase of the job:

•safe teardown and material separation

•clean work area during and after removal

•responsible disposal of debris

This eliminates the hassle of hiring a separate contractor or coordinating multiple crews.

Site Prep & Ground Readiness

A shed performs best when it sits on a properly prepared foundation.

Based on your placement plan, we can provide:

• ground leveling and grading

• gravel or pad preparation (as appropriate)

• drainage and slope considerations

• clearance around fences, trees, or obstacles

We focus on long-term stability and proper support, not shortcuts.

The goal is a shed that stays level, drains well, and holds up over time.

(For homeowners who want to understand this phase in more detail, we’ve outlined it on our Site Prep & Access Guide page.)

Our Delivery & Placement Approach

Delivery and placement are not treated as a final step — they are a core part of the project. We plan movement and positioning with the same level of care that goes into the build itself.

Our approach is steady, controlled, and deliberate. We think through travel paths, turning space, grade, and surface conditions, and we place the structure in a way that supports long-term performance rather than forcing it into position. Placement is adjusted intentionally, with small, precise movements and careful alignment instead of rushed or aggressive handling.

Our goal is a shed that arrives safely, is positioned thoughtfully, and is set the way it is intended to sit — with respect for the structure, the site, and the property around it.

(If you’d like to see how this translates to behavior on your property, visit our Safety & Worksite Standards page.)

Delivery, Placement & Final Positioning

When your shed is ready, our team coordinates delivery and placement — start to finish.

We use professional equipment and careful maneuvering to protect lawns, landscaping, and driveways while positioning the shed exactly where it belongs.

On delivery day, you can expect:

• clear communication on arrival time

• professional placement and leveling

• careful movement around your property

• a clean, respectful work environment

We don’t “drop and go.” We make sure everything is set, aligned, and done right.

Yearly Maintenance Program

To extend the life of your shed — and help maintain warranty coverage — we offer an optional yearly maintenance service.

This service may include:

• exterior condition and sealant checks

• roof and trim inspection

• floor and foundation review

• leveling adjustments as needed

• cleaning of exterior surfaces and eaves

It’s a simple way to protect your investment and keep your shed performing the way it should for years to come.

(You can read more about our long-term support on the Warranty and Long Term Care page.)

Post-Placement Support & Ongoing Guidance

Once the shed is placed, the project doesn’t simply “end.” We believe long-term ownership is part of the responsibility of doing the job the right way.

If questions come up after installation — whether about settling, drainage behavior, access, or maintenance considerations — we’re willing to talk through what you’re seeing and help determine the right next step. Our warranty and workmanship philosophy is based on realistic expectations, thoughtful guidance, and an honest commitment to supporting the structure over time.

We install every shed with the intention that it continues performing well in the years ahead — and we remain available as a resource if you need us down the road.

(For details on what to expect over the years, visit our Warranty and Long Term Care page.)
