JOB SITE SAFETY STANDARDS AND CONDUCT

Our customers trust us with their homes, property, and space.

Every ShedPros project must reflect our values:

planning, respect, safety, care, professionalism, and long-term performance.

These standards apply on every job — from arrival to final walk-through.

1) Jobsite Presence & Professional Conduct

• Arrive on time and ready to work

• Greet the homeowner respectfully and introduce the crew

• Speak calmly and professionally at all times

• No profanity, arguing, or loud behavior

• No explicit music — music only if approved and kept low

• No smoking, vaping, chewing, or alcohol on site

• Phones are for work use only while on site

We represent ShedPros the entire time we are on the property.

2) Shed Movement

Before moving equipment, tools, materials, or a shed:

• Walk the site as a crew

• Review site access and path of travel

• Identify slopes, soft ground, structures, and utilities

• Double-check site plans for accuracy

• Confirm responsibilities and communication roles

During shed movement:

• Two spotters are required at all times

• Spotters must maintain clear sightlines & voice contact

• No one stands in pinch-zones or under load

• Movement must stop immediately if visibility or control is lost

If something feels unsafe or uncertain:

Stop. Reassess. Communicate.

We do not rush — we move with purpose and awareness.

3) Required PPE & Protective Wear

The following are required on ALL ShedPros jobs:

• Hard hats — always

• Safety glasses — always

• Gloves when handling lumber or sharp materials

• Boots that cover and support ankles

• Long pants — no shorts on job sites

PPE compliance is not optional.

If PPE is missing or damaged — work stops until corrected.

4) Hygiene & Professional Appearance

We maintain a professional presence at all times.

Crew members must:

• Keep hair and facial hair neat and clean

• Wear clean clothing

• Wear an official ShedPros shirt

• Maintain a calm, courteous, and positive demeanor

We present ourselves with the same care we apply to our work.

5) Property Protection & Respect

We treat every yard like it is our own.

• Use ground protection where appropriate

• Avoid rutting, dragging, or scarring turf

• Keep equipment controlled and stable

• Do not lean tools on fences or structures

• Close gates behind us

• Stay within approved work areas

If damage risk increases — we stop and adjust.

6) Clean, Organized, Professional Worksite

A ShedPros jobsite must appear:

orderly

intentional

under control

Throughout the job:

• Tools are staged neatly

• Materials stacked safely

• Trash collected as we go

• Screws, nails, and loose debris are not left on the ground

• No food or drink waste lying around

Before leaving:

• Sweep or blow work areas

• Remove scrap and debris

• Walk the site visually as a crew

We leave the site better than we found it.

7) Safety Standards

Safety comes before speed — always.

• No risky shortcuts to “save time”

• Proper lifting technique required

• Clear verbal communication during movement

• Stop-work authority belongs to every crew member

If conditions become unsafe:

work pauses until corrected — no exceptions

8) Homeowner Interaction & Expectations

We communicate respectfully and professionally.

• Explain key steps before beginning

• Inform the homeowner before equipment movement

• Ask permission before entering new areas

• Do not discuss pricing or internal issues on site

• Concerns are handled by the project lead only

We do not speculate, argue, or over-promise.

9) Final Placement Verification & Documentation

A job is not complete until:

• Shed is level and fully supported

• Drainage & pad conditions are verified

• Doors and access paths function properly

Final placement must be recorded on the project form

And must include:

• Level check confirmation

• Support point verification

• Drainage notes

• Photos of:

• pad / support

• corners

• doors & access

• final placement

Photos are required on every project — no exceptions.
