Placement & Access Planning
Intro
A shed isn’t “delivered to an address.” It’s delivered through a landscape.
Access planning is how we protect your yard, avoid surprises, and safely place a structure exactly where it belongs—even in backyards and tight spaces.

Q&A
Can you place a shed in my backyard?
Often yes. We evaluate gates, turns, slope, ground firmness, and obstacles. Backyards are common—planning is the key.
What access information do you need?
• Gate widths
• Distance from driveway to pad location
• Tight corners or narrow passages
• Slope and soft ground zones
• Overhead clearances (trees, wires, eaves)
Will placement damage my lawn?
We plan to minimize disturbance. Some compression can occur depending on soil and moisture. We’ll tell you what to expect before any move happens.
What if I have a fence?
Sometimes a gate is sufficient. Sometimes a temporary panel removal is smarter. We’ll recommend the least disruptive option.
How close can a shed be placed to a house or fence?
It depends on setbacks, maneuvering room, and safe placement tolerances. Tight placements can be done, but they must be planned—not forced.
What about trees, roots, and landscaping?
We respect landscaping and plan routes and placement to minimize root impact and surface damage. Sometimes a minor adjustment in shed location prevents major yard problems later.
What if the ground is soft?
We assess soil and adjust plan accordingly. Soft ground changes the risk profile and may change timing, pad approach, or placement method.
If you’re unsure whether your access is “too tight,” send photos and rough measurements—most people are surprised by what’s possible with proper planning.
